Wednesday, Tea with Nana

On Wednesday, we had tea with Nana. Ruthie B's was an amazing antique store in which you are seated in different rooms of the store, each having its' own theme. We were in the "Natural" room and all the antiques, mostly housewares/glassware, was in the natural tones. More than anything, I think the girls had fun getting dressed up with Nana. Auntie had the day off and was able to join us. After a long nap, we ate dinner and then went for ice cream at Pearl Street Ice cream Parlor, which was very similar to O'Farrells. The girls were thrilled with the sprinkles on their cones. After we left Pearl Street, we went over to Uncle Mark and Aunt Carol's. Ashley was home, so it was nice catching up with her. She showed the girls her loom and explained how textiles are woven. Ashley is headed to Italy next summer to work in a the textiles dept. of a Fashion House. I am hoping she gets placed with Guicci or Versace. Maybe we can visit her!!!
