Mrs. Hanebury's class celebrated the Thanksgiving
time period by dressing as either Native Americans or Pilgrims.
Ainsley was a Pilgrim (photos to follow), but as part of
the Native American study, all the students made necklaces.
They turned out very nice!

Making Clifford window decals

Penelope, Millie and Joy came over to hang out before piano lessons the other day. They brought with them kits to make Clifford window decals, which the Jewel Fairy brought Penelope. Thanks for sharing with us. Kaley was at school.

Grave markers

Daddy and the girls made grave markers for the front yard. Thank you, daddy for letting us help you.

Ainsley's mask from school

To celebrate Halloween, Mrs. Hanebury worked with the students to make Marde Gras masks. The masks were then displayed in the office at the school.

Halloween parade at Sequoia

Ainsley and Kaleena. We met Kaleena when we first moved out here and joined a playgroup. Once the kids got a bit older and started going off to Preschool, the group stopped meeting. We lost touch with the members, but was quite surprised to walk into Sequoia the first day...and there was a friendly, familiar face belonging to Kaleena. The Kinders put on a parade for the 1st-5th graders at Sequoia. Currently, only the Kinders dress up for Halloween.

Ainsley and Kaley on parade. It was a bit cold and while Ainsley wanted to wear her Angel costume...we convinced her that her chinese pajamas would be warmer. Much to our surprise, Kaley wanted to wear hers, too.

The same weekend mom and dad were here, Renee had a regatta in Sacramento. Mom and I went to pick her up as the plan was for her to return to Eugene with them. Mom let the cat out of the bag that John was also in Sacramento while "talking" to Renee....while she was rowing??? Anyway, it was a big surprise to have John visit. The girls love all the extra love....
