One minute she's a ballerina, the next- a robot
We received some gifts and before we could dispose of the cardboard boxes, Miss Ainsley swiped them and started working on her Robot suit. With daddy's help, she was able to parade around the house as a robot.

The Nutcracker is finally here
Poppi and Nana came to visit mid-December for our long awaited trip to SF to see SF Ballet's Nutcracker. The girls went to the ballet while one of the dad's car shopped and the other worked. Michael joined us later for dinner at Max's Opera House Cafe. This is going to be a hard act to follow....

Kaley wanted to hang an ornament on the Children's Tree in the Civic Center playground....so she did...
Ainsley ran into (literally) a friend from Sequoia, Gabrielle. It was fun for the girls to see one another all dressed up and in such a fancy place (War Memorial Operal House)
The excitement of the day was ooozzzing out of the Worthley girls.
Ainsley, especially, loved our seats where she could sit on the edge of seat and rest on the railing while watching the dancers. It was such a memorable day. Hope to do it again in a couple of years.

Kaley and her winter concert
Kaley sang three songs really nicely at the Winter concert. Her favorite was one in which she kept the beat by alternating claps between her hands and legs while singing "Hey Mama wee bear"....It was really exciting to see that she was able to get all the words out to the songs. It is rewarding to see her progress through speech. Here she is with Naomi.

Kaley lost her first tooth
For a couple of weeks, Kaley has been commenting that she had a loose tooth, It was usually in "play". Then, last week, we noticed that Kaley's bottom tooth DID look like it was moving. I asked her if she fell at school. "No" was her answer. She then said she was excited about the tooth fairy coming. I had a feeling that this "loose" tooth was something that she was forcing so that the tooth fairy would come. I told her that the tooth fairy couldn't come yet, because Kaley wasn't on the tooth fairy's list because she was a bit young to loose a tooth. The next day, I happened to glance in her mouth and noticed that her gum was swollen and it looked like something "white" was popping through. Well, things progressed quickly and Thursday, we made a quick trip to Joanne's for fabric for Kaley's tooth fairy pillow. Friday, the tooth was a' hanging and I was a' sewing. Kaley did not eat much Friday or Saturday and finally today, she was munching salad and.....the tooth popped out. For the next couple of hours, Kaley kept the tooth in place, but wouldn't talk. Finally, she was coughing and the tooth was out for good. She spit it out and placed in my hand and...smiled:)

Halloween 07
Here are some photos of the girls at Halloween. Ainsley was Pipi and Kaley was a mermaid. We had dinner with the Skows, Wakefields, Jellinghaus' and Davis' at our house first, then we all hit the street. We missed the Rapelas as they were out of town. We look forward to next Halloween with them and also Baby W (akefield) will be here for the holiday and festivities.

Jumping in Leaves
At dinner tonight, we were talking about all the things we did today- here's a run down of Saturday:
Ice Skating w/Skows
Playing at Civic Park
Grocery store
Lunch
Ballet dancing
Visit from Melody
Mary Claire came over
Sydney and Jordie also came over
When Mary Claire, Syd and Jordie were here, they had a tea party w/oranges and wheat thins, played fairies and jumped in the leaves.

Ice Skating
Today, Saturday, we took the girls ice skating with The Skows. The Gillettes, De Credicos and Erik and Roxy were there as well. Ainsley had a good time and was really comfortable on the ice. After about an hour of skating with Michael, she decided to branch out on her own. Kaley was quite content watching from the side.....she said maybe she'll try later.

Hard drive is replaced- Tree Lighting Ceremony
Well, I haven't been sooo good about putting our photos up (once again). Big bummer, too, being as our hard drive crashed and we lost all of our photos. Thank goodness we have the blog as some are captured there. Our friend, Erik, explained that there are two types of people in the world- Those who back up....and....Those who will. I guess after our little experience, we fall into the later category.
Anyway, we met our Tuffo relatives(Uncle Tony, Aunt Jane, Michelle, Mark, Kelly and Kai) at the annual Macys Tree Lighting Cermony yesterday. The Jersey Boys performed, as did the SF Boys Choir. The ceremony opened with a large Christmas present on stage. Out of the present popped a Cirque du Soleil performer from Kooza. We had a really nice spot next to the tree- It was nice to share it with the Tuffos!
